ISO 9001 certified custom injection molded shower knob handles for bathroom mixers — molded internal thread, center post, chrome-plated ABS or molded color, OEM to drawing.
This shower knob is the rotary control on a bathroom shower mixer: a molded plastic body with a molded internal thread, a concentric center post that engages the valve cartridge stem, and a grip surface that has to stay comfortable with wet hands. It is produced as a custom injection molded part to customer drawings, so thread size, knob diameter and grip pattern are all tooled to your valve design rather than picked from a catalogue.
Because the knob is a visible, hand-contact part, material and finish drive the specification. We mold chrome-plating grade ABS, PC/ABS, PP or POM depending on whether the part is plated, painted or left in molded color. Finishes include chrome, satin nickel, brushed, matte paint and soft-touch coating, with color matched to your Pantone or RAL reference. The thread and center post are cut into the tool, so the knob locates on the cartridge the same way on the first shot as on the hundred-thousandth.
ISO 9001 certified production with in-process dimensional checks and a first article inspection report for every new tool. Typical mold lead time is 3–4 weeks, with finish samples submitted for approval before mass production starts.
For a firm quote we need a 2D drawing with tolerances, a 3D model (STEP / STP / IGS), the material and finish, the cartridge or valve stem it mounts on, and an estimated annual quantity. If you only have a physical sample, we can reverse-engineer the drawing first.
Yes. We mold chrome-plating grade ABS as the substrate and coordinate plating with qualified finishing partners. Adhesion and salt-spray testing can be arranged on request, and a plated sample is submitted for approval before the production run.
Yes. Send the cartridge, valve stem or a thread specification and we will tool the internal thread and center post to suit it. For existing ranges we can also work from a replacement handle sample.
Mold design and fabrication takes 20–30 days for a typical single-cavity tool, first samples follow 3–5 days after trial, and production runs 10–15 days after sample approval depending on quantity and finishing.
Yes. We run trial batches from around 1,000 pcs — lower for large parts — so the knob can be fitted and tested on your valve before a volume commitment.
Send your drawing, cartridge sample or existing handle for a quote — we will reply with tooling cost, unit price and lead time, and flag any design changes that would make the part easier to mold or plate.
